I have attended New City Fellowship Presbyterian Church off and on since I was three years old. I became a Christian when I was fifteen and was an “at-risk” youth. My greatest obstacle was my temper and becoming so discouraged I would give up. My church community and family provided me with the love and support I needed to transition from “at-risk” youth to an accomplished young woman. In 2018,
I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a B.A. in History. In 2020, I gained a Paralegal Certificate while working full time in a nonprofit. Currently, I have worked two years in the nonprofit field and two years in the legal field. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family as well as volunteer in my church and community.
It is a great honor to serve Open Hand of Fredericksburg as the Programs Manager because their mission and vision align with my passion and calling for youth ministries and community activism. Since college, I found great joy and fulfillment in youth ministries and grassroots organizing. I love my local community and enjoy empowering youth to find their purpose and calling.
